Powerboat Trip

A group of students from the academy enjoyed their trip with the Wet Wheels powerboat from Hamble Marina. Once in open water, the students were taken on a high speed, exhilarating ride to the Isle of Wight, viewing Cowes and Osborne House from the boat. On this sunny day, they were able to take a turn at driving the boat under the supervision of a powerboat instructor. 

Accompanying the trip, Oasis Director of Ethos, Paul Woodman said,

’This was the first time that many of the students had been out on the Southampton waters. It was a terrific experience for them. It was lovely to see them enjoy the speed of the boat and to learn more about Southampton and the Isle of Wight.'
