This week, students at Oasis Academy Mayfield were treated to a visit from GSUS Live, an interactive educational program that travels to secondary schools nationwide to provide religious education sessions.
The week-long program, attended by all students at the academy, features Bible story animations, contemporary music, short films highlighting historical and prominent figures, and more. These activities are designed to encourage students to consider real-life issues from a Christian perspective.
Paul Woodman, Director of Ethos, said;
"Our students thoroughly enjoyed this unique RE program, which connected the stories of historical figures to modern-day life. Discussions were held on topics such as fear, rejection, and forgiveness. A special thank you to the Counties team for setting up the interactive learning environment and to the Young Life and church volunteers for assisting with the sessions throughout the week."
