The wait is finally over for Year 11 students at Oasis Academy Mayfield, who returned to school today to receive their GCSE results – and it was a morning of celebration, smiles, and new beginnings.
This year, students have not only achieved excellent grades but have also shown resilience, determination, and a commitment to their futures. These achievements reflect the way Oasis Academy Mayfield supports every part of a young person’s development, not just helping them succeed academically, but also building their confidence, character, and life skills.
Students at the academy are offered a wide range of opportunities both in and out of the classroom, and they’re surrounded by staff who know them, believe in them, and work with them to overcome challenges.

Among the high achievers was Rebecca, who secured three grade 9’s and five grade 8’s and 2 grade 7’s and will be going on to conscientiously study A Levels and we wish her every success.
Chloe also performed brilliantly, earning two grade 9’s, three grade 7’s and three grade 6’s, and will now be going on to study A Levels and continuing to apply herself exceptionally.
Grace was so excited about her results she came running across the room to let her teachers know. She is planning to pursue her dreams of becoming a teacher. We look forward to welcoming her back in the future! She stated that ‘she couldn’t have achieved the results without the support of the school staff’
Claire Taylor, Principal at Oasis Academy Mayfield, said: “These results are a testament to the Mayfield Way. Our students have shown they are kind, proud and determined, and we are delighted to celebrate their success. We wish them all the very best for the future and extend a special thank-you to our staff for their hard work, care and commitment that has supported the students on their Mayfield journey”
