Funding
We have a dedicated careers advisor working two days a week as provided by Oasis Academy Mayfield and OCL payroll.
This year we have been part of the SUN (Southern Universities Network) project which seeks to raise levels of engagement beyond KS4 into further and higher education. The SUN have conducted research identifying areas across the city with the least amount of engagement beyond KS4 and have provided money to schools whose students are within those postcodes for the sole use of being used towards careers and aspiration. SUN ask in return for students to give consent to an anonymised questionnaire which will track the students’ progress until the age of 25 to see if the funding provided has had impact on careers and future destinations.
See below the money that Oasis Mayfield received as part of the SUN project
2017/2018: £20,000
2018/19: £20,000
