Academy Library
In recent years, Oasis Mayfield’s Library has been moved to an online system due to the social distancing measures required by Covid. We have since brought in a new Librarian, Miss Grant, to oversee the construction of a brand-new physical Library within the English department, both to support our students and develop their love of reading, as well as to provide a place and resources for studying.
We’re hoping to build the Library before the end of the current Academic Year; take a look at the first sketch of the design!
While we’re working on the physical construction of the Library, there is a pop up Library available during break and lunch in classroom G15, with a selection of books that changes weekly, and the ability for a ‘click and collect’ service. Additionally, there are two online resources that students are able to access;
Accessit Library: The Library Database is called Accessit and can be found HERE: all students can sign into Accessit and use the Database to view and reserve titles from the Library, keep track of any books on loan, create wishlists, and write reviews.
ePlatform: as well as our physical Library collection, we also have an electronic library that can be found HERE. There is a large collection of ebooks and audiobooks available for students to read on their iPads, either at home or at school.
