Welcome to the Library – Dive Into Reading

Our beautiful, ocean-themed Library is located is a calm, inspiring space designed for both focus and imagination. We have over 3,500 fiction and non-fiction books available for borrowing, covering every genre you can imagine—from dystopian thrillers and heart-fluttering romance to terrifying horror and everything in between.

There’s plenty of space for:

  • Quiet reading
  • Group activities
  • Games and activities
  • Independent homework and studying

You can even enjoy the fresh air on our outdoor balcony during the summer term.

In addition to books, we also offer a variety of games and activities, including Scrabble, Jenga, Chess, colouring, logic puzzles, word searches, and more.

 

After School Clubs:

The Library has a full host of after school clubs available - open to all students and held in the library from 3:05 PM to 4:00 PM. There’s no need to register – you may simply show up!

Weekly Schedule:

Monday – Book Club

Love to read? Come and chat about our current pick or bring your own favourite. Book club is a chill space to read and share the thoughts about our current reads, and to possibly even discover your next favourite novel.  

Tuesday – Creative Writing Club

Whether you're into poetry, short stories, articles, screenwriting… this is your space to write, share, and be inspired by others. Participate in new weekly prompts or workshops and be the first to hear about creative writing competitions. You can also be in with a chance to have your work published!

Wednesday – Debate Club

Practice public speaking, critical thinking, and have respectful, lively debates on topics that you might now always get to explore in school. The students vote on the topic each week!

Thursday – Community Library

The Library will be open to students, parents, and teachers alike, to come in and enjoy the space – read, play some board games, or speak to the Librarian about any of your thoughts or questions!

Here are some helpful sections you might want to check out:

  • Accessit is our library database. All students can sign into Accessit and use the Database to view and reserve titles from the Library, keep track of any books on loan, create wish lists, and write reviews.
  • ePlatform is our digital Library, which contains over 1000 eBooks and audiobooks that all students can access right from their iPads.

Opening Times

  • Before School: 8:00–8:25 AM (except Mondays)
  • Break & Lunchtime: Every day (Library pass required)
  • After School: 3:00–4:00 PM (Closes early on Fridays at 3:30 PM)
