We as parents and also our son feel very happy with Oasis Academy Mayfield. Our son is very settled at the school, he has good relationships with his fellow pupils and the staff. He feels supported by the staff when this is needed during lessons & homework. Communication between the school and ourselves as parents is excellent. The testing times of the past year or so with the pandemic have been managed fantastically well by the school. Oasis Academy Mayfield is a positive setting for our son who in turn is a positive asset to the Academy.

We have two children in the academy.  We are generally very happy and our children have had good experiences at the school.  We have been very impressed with how the school has responded to the covid situation and looked after our children both in terms of physical and mental health.

I have seen amazing improvement for past 2 years. The level of support, professional staff attitude towards students and parents, better management of school and teachers at classroom without shouting and using impropriety language and behaviour  . My child definitely feels much happier at school now.

I think that the pastoral care is very supportive and I know my daughter has the confidence to speak to her tutor and Mrs Godwin if she struggles with anything, she is listened to and taken seriously.

The staff at the Academy have excelled during the most trying times since WW2. they have been extremely well led over this time. I think there may be a need for an extra councillor over the next few years to help with the fall out from C19.

The iPad system for learning has been very impressive and a real help over lockdown.

My daughter is very happy at school, rarely do we any any problems. Recently there was an incident at school and I was called at work to inform me what had happened. Very impressed with the level of communication.
