Students at Oasis Academy Mayfield received an overwhelming endorsement of their hard work and ability when they achieved impressive results in their GCSE results this year:
100% achieved 1 A*-G grade
77% achieved 5 A*-C grades (nearly double our results in 2010)
48% achieved 5 A*-C grades inc. English and Maths
Even better success for our girls 63% of whom achieved 5A*-C inc. English and Maths
Our results were the most improved in Southampton this year. Ashley Gunter, who secured 13 A-C grades, took success in his stride when he said ‘Wow, I did alright!’. Rosie Muldowney, who achieved 12 A*-C, 11 of which were A/A*, credited her teachers with supporting her throughout her time at the Academy, as well as lots of revision. Rachel Chivers was thrilled with her A and A* grades and said ‘With these results I can go to college and study Psychology. I studied hard – every day of every week of every year.’
