It is with great joy, and relief, that I confirm that the DfE have approved our submission of rational on why the building project should continue.
I would like to thank all staff, students, parents, politicians and Southampton Education for their continued support and optimism during this time of waiting.
We were right to be confident but there was always the other outcome to consider. We now expect that the programme will continue as planned and will work to avoid delays or slippage.
Our drive is to use this opportunity to continue the drive for excellence in the area and we look forward to working in collaboration as we do this.
